Evaluation of complex claims that require a higher level of medical analysis due to prior denials, multiple interrelated conditions, or conflicting medical evidence.Case Complexity
Some cases require a higher level of clinical analysis regardless of the number of conditions involved.
This may include:

Aggravation analysis
Prior VA denials or conflicting medical opinions
Extensive or medically complex records
When a case requires expanded analysis, it is reviewed at the appropriate level based on overall complexity rather than condition count alone.Important
